  • Embracing My Path: Staying True to Myself

I wanted to share a couple of things this evening with you. First, I finally got the forgiveness challenge done. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it, but something inspired me.

It’s audio only, so I’m going to upload it to a playlist or SoundCloud, and I’ll email the playlist out and post it in the group. That’s where it’ll live. (Now, this challenge can be found here, or inside the ALCHEMY™ Community.)

When the Universe Shifts: Losing and Recreating My Forgiveness Course

So, ironically, I went to check on the course I created, the forgiveness course. The platform was updated, but now my course content is missing. That’s sad because I put a lot into it.

So, now I have to figure out if it can be retrieved or if it needs to be recreated from scratch. There’s probably a reason things fell apart the way they did, maybe explaining why the challenge got pushed back. That was interesting to me.

Why Judgment Will Never Lead Us to Freedom

Earlier, I had a conversation with a friend about all the judgment out here.

So many people trying to push others into boxes, trying to make them fit into their way of life. Today, I guess I just had the time, because I’m really in a space where I don’t hold my tongue as much.

Normally, I do, because I know my words have made people cry before. I know the way I use words can pierce. It’s not something I brag about, but it’s real, and I do try to be mindful of it, especially because I’m an empath.

I have to keep a delicate balance.

I posted on my personal page: Right now, in my life and on my journey, I am exactly where I’m supposed to be. So, I will think, eat, wear, look, dream, say, have, be, and do whatever I damn well please.

I see so many people, especially in my inbox, wanting to tell me things like, “You shouldn’t eat this,” or “You can’t be spiritual if you do X, Y, and Z.”

Let me tell you, first of all, I did not ask you.

Second, you don’t know what’s been put on my spirit.

We’re all here to walk our own unique path. Some paths are about destruction, some about mediocrity, some people are born to be superstars, some are teachers, some are bus drivers.

Who am I to judge anyone’s choices? We all have to decide for ourselves, and what’s best for me right now might be different in six months. The circumstances change, and so do our choices.

If you ever feel pressured or like people are slyly trying to plant their thoughts and ideals in your life, stay true to yourself. That’s the most powerful thing you can do.

Real Love Gives Room to Grow

I’ve learned something important: When someone loves you, they give you space to grow. There’s so much judgment all around. I think social media is part of it. We get this front-row seat to everyone’s life (or at least what they want us to see) and it turns into a popcorn show for us to critique.

People would feel better if they stayed in their own lane instead of worrying about me and my business.

I get people sometimes have concerns, but in spiritual spaces and even in church communities, if you’re not conforming to certain rules, you’re suddenly not “in the crowd” or not “woke” if you do this or that.

People love to stick labels on you and put you inside boxes they *think* you fit in.

I’m not here for it. I have to do what’s right for me. If I don’t, my spirit suffers.

Letting Go of Other People’s Opinions

I won’t be happy trying to please everybody.

Someone might not like the color I paint my nails or how I do my hair or how I dress. I don’t care. Their opinion doesn’t matter. As long as I’m feeling good about what I’m doing, as long as I’m happy and not hurting anybody, the rest is noise. Right now, my focus is myself, my children, my business, and my money.

If you’re not feeding me, financing me, or providing for me, if we’re not married and you don’t have any stock or stake in my life, what you say just doesn’t matter.

I’m proud to be here now because I used to take everything personally. I was super sensitive. Being an empath and picking up on what people felt, I tried to people-please. No more. I don’t have any Fs to give anymore.

Reclaiming My Freedom: Cutting Ties for Good

It’s a beautiful feeling—freedom. This is my birthday month, and if I don’t get anything for my birthday, it doesn’t even matter because the conviction, belief, and faith I have in myself and my life means more than anything else. It wasn’t easy getting here, but being free is everything.

I mentioned before, I had a friend I’ve known for two decades. We would talk and date—off and on, off and on.

Today, I completely cut that off. I just can’t do it. It doesn’t feel good to me, and honestly, I wasn’t practicing what I preach, making excuses for longevity and familiarity. But if it were anyone else, I would have ended it long ago.

Reclaiming that energy has brought me so much peace and power.

Stop Pouring Energy Outwards: Focus on What Matters

We get so caught up wondering what everyone else thinks, asking, Should I post this? Will someone say something? We end up pouring so much energy outside of ourselves. What truly matters is what matters to us. Your people—the ones who see you—won’t care about trivial things. They’ll see you for who you are, and that’s what really matters.

When you feel uncomfortable, anxious, constantly questioning yourself, it may be because you’re around the wrong people or disconnected from your own self. Tap into your divinity, your power, and your ability to stand as you are.

Embracing Differences and Creating Synergy

We are not meant to be the same. Each of us has different personalities and ways of expressing ourselves. If we could learn to coexist, embracing differences instead of letting them separate us, we could create true synergy. Instead, people act out of fear and try to restrict others, completely missing the point that we are all living our own unique truths.

So, let me remind you: if you’re feeling lost, confused, or unsure, where you are is exactly where you are meant to be. Continue to grow into yourself. Focus on what matters most to you, and you’ll see things change for the better in your life.

The Forgiveness Challenge: A Shift in Process

I wanted to share that because something about all the judgment today irritated me. When something gets under my skin, I know it’s time to speak on it.

Part of my work is sharing and inviting you to open your perspective. To me, love isn’t conditional. It’s not about restricting or molding people to fit a certain standard. Love is unlimited.

I did record audio clips for the forgiveness challenge. The longest one is about fifteen minutes, so it’s quick and easy to access. I’m not putting it on the podcast. It will only be on SoundCloud and in my group, and on my website.

If you have questions as you move through the activity, post in the group or email me. There are five audio clips. The original course content is gone from the platform update, but that’s just another lesson in flowing with what is.

Celebrating My Birthday Month and Stepping Fully into Freedom

I’m excited to have this challenge finally out and I hope you get something out of it. I’ll get those files uploaded and links sent out soon. I’ve been in my office working, and my podcast, Spiritual Love and Life Conversations, lives on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and SoundCloud. I talk about all kinds of things and I want to invite more guests for conversations about love and life.

I have support coming in to help with tasks, so hopefully I’ll have more time to do what truly lights me up. This is my birthday month and I am truly feeling myself, stepping all the way into my freedom. I want everyone to feel this freeness because it’s available to all of us. Life is beautiful. When I look back at how far I’ve come, I can only be amazed. It would be a shame for me to shrink and not let my light shine.

Not being in corporate America gives me the freedom to show up every day as I want to be.

No More Judging My Tarot or Donuts

So, when I see people sending me messages about me having tarot cards or eating donuts, I have to say… first of all, we aren’t married. Your opinion is not valid here because I am the only authority in my life. What you will not do is try to confine me to someone else’s crazy rules. If I feel my cookie and donut habit is a problem, I will take care of it. Until then, if you’re not in my life at that level, don’t DM me about it.

I understand people want to come from a place of love, but when it’s really rooted in fear, that’s not cute. We all need to respect each other’s wishes and beliefs. As long as you’re not hurting anyone, do you, boo. That’s the energy I’m bringing right now.

What’s Coming Up: New Moon, Classes, and Healing Circles

Sunday, September 9th, is the Spiritual Love Lessons Masterclass. I’ll post a link in the group and try to keep all these balls in the air, which is why I’m grateful for help behind the scenes.

I also need to schedule healing circle sessions, probably on the 12th and 26th. I tried to get away from Wednesdays because of yoga, but that’s where we’re at until further notice.

I am happy, I am at peace, and I love the work I do. That’s what matters most. I appreciate you for hanging out with me. Tomorrow is Wellness Wednesday and I’ll try to pop back in. Sending you love and light—get some rest, my beautiful people.
