I just want to connect for a little bit, share what’s been showing up for me lately. There’s been a deep wave of introspection flowing through my life, so I wanted to pop on, check in, and keep it real about what’s going on.
The Gift of Disconnection & Self Care
I haven’t been in the group that much this week. Life’s been coming at me from all angles, so this past weekend I decided to disconnect for a bit.
I spent time with my best friend, and y’all, let me tell you, that was so needed and so necessary. Afterward, I just felt lighter, grateful for the space to breathe and just be.
Right now, I’m feeling amazing because Wednesday night is yoga night for me.
Yoga has been stretching me physically, mentally, and spiritually in all the best ways. The flow of the practice is engaging and fast-moving. I even worked up a good sweat, which felt like my body just releasing and letting go.
My yoga studio is my sanctuary. That’s where I go to meet with myself, to reconnect.
After class tonight, I came into my office and did a guided meditation with my Rose Quartz and Mangano Calcite; two stones carrying such loving, gentle energies. I’m grateful.
Owning My Path and Letting Go
As many of you know, I am now a 100% full-time business owner. That shift brings so much change and, not gonna lie, plenty of unsolicited advice from folks who don’t know a thing about this journey.
On top of that, I’ve moved through a lot of change in my personal life. I made the choice to let go of a friendship that’s been in my life for over 20 years. That was huge.
I’m at a point where choosing myself is non-negotiable.
That’s paramount for me—choosing myself over everything else.
One thing that’s been coming through loud and clear from Spirit is the message of release.
I’ve lost a lot in recent years. You’d think I’d be in a place of desperation or pain, but honestly, I’m not.
Today, right when I was about to let the overwhelm take over, Spirit said: let go. I saw a vision of myself just suspended out among the stars. Not flying, not falling, just being, supported by the universe.
The Power to Co-Create
Sometimes, we have to let things go to make room for the things we desire.
I was shown that it’s up to me to create what comes next. That’s what I want to share with you: we have the power to co-create our lives. Whatever we desire—personally, in relationships, our careers, our families—it’s up to us.
Shifting from lack or victim mindset into empowerment is the gateway.
Letting go empowers you. It isn’t easy. I had to release a friend who meant a lot to me. Yes, it was painful. But in doing so, I opened myself up to new connections, to healing, and got my energy back.
Embracing the Process of Release
A lot of times, when we’re letting go, we only see the loss.
We focus on the problem instead of the solution or the blessings. I
had to cry it out. I had to feel every ounce of that grief. But in the end, I realized I had outgrown that friendship a long time ago but was holding on out of fear, because it was familiar, comfortable.
How many of us are holding on to something we’ve already outgrown?
Clothes, shoes, careers, relationships that are past their expiration date. We do it out of habit, out of a need for comfort because change, even if it’s good or better… is uncomfortable.
Reclaiming My Power
By clinging to that relationship, I was robbing myself of the kind of connection I truly desired.
Especially in relationships, when we aren’t getting what we need, we keep pouring into the other person, hoping it’ll come back around, and we end up depleted.
I gave this friendship a chance to grow, but it became clear it was time to let it go.
It hurt, but I propelled myself forward. I created boundaries.
By choosing myself instead of trying to revive a relationship that had flatlined, I reclaimed my power. I stopped reaching for something that was no longer available, and that was so empowering, both the decision and how I handled it.
Afterward, I let myself feel it. I didn’t stuff it down or try to fake happy.
I took a vacation, disconnected from social media, put my phone on Do Not Disturb, surrounded myself with love.
My best friend and her family held space for me. Even when I felt sad and uncomfortable, I let driving become meditation… windows down, rain falling, music playing.
That was healing and cleansing for my soul.
Tonight in yoga, a lot of those leftover feelings rose up, and I saw how strong I actually am. I made the right choice for me.
Wellness Tip: Choosing Yourself
Because it’s Wellness Wednesday, let me leave you with this: choosing yourself and saying no to what doesn’t serve you is crucial for your well-being.
We waste so much energy pouring our love into people who can’t or won’t reciprocate. Like Drake said, “Nice for what?” We don’t have to keep being nice to people who don’t deserve it.
It’s okay to close off your energy, your heart, your thoughts to someone who can’t respect you or show up for you.
Start upholding boundaries. Maybe that means new friends, more movement, cleaner eating, deeper prayer, or a fresh meditation practice.
Choose yourself first, then watch your life come together in ways you never imagined.
And understand that choosing you often means letting go of the old. Old habits, relationships, places, thoughts. We hold onto so much that we end up carrying bags of pain, trauma, and old stories.
No wonder we can’t fly, we’re weighed down. It’s time to let go.
Embracing Rebirth
These years of change… starting my business, walking in my gifts as a coach, intuitive, healer; have been a process of becoming my Sacred Self.
And through all of that, the theme of rebirth keeps surfacing. When clients come to me, it’s not just about coaching. I support women and men as they rebirth or recreate themselves after pain, heartache, or not loving themselves.
Relationships matter.
We all want love, soulmates, someone who’ll love us unconditionally. But in order to receive that, we have to let go and open ourselves to real change.
The Evolution of My Work
I checked in on an old blog post, “What Do I Do As a Spiritual Love Coach?” and realized how much has shifted for me since I wrote it.
I’m still a coach, but at my core I am a guide and healer. Coaching is just one of the many tools in my medicine bag. I don’t give advice or tell clients how to live, my role is to support them in finding their own answers. I listen, gently highlight limiting beliefs, and hold space for my clients to make their own empowered changes.
I love that my work is intuitive and intimate. Every client I work with receives what they need in the moment, whether that’s more energy healing or more coaching. I can see what area needs the deepest attention and we work from there.
I’ve reinvented myself several times, especially after surviving domestic violence.
Learning how to love and live again wasn’t easy, but it forged my path forward. That’s why I do what I do. If I’d had a guide or support back then, I wouldn’t have wandered so long in the dark.
Love Rehab: My Signature Program
If you’re ready to choose yourself, I’d love to work with you. I have three open spots for Love Rehab coaching, a six-week program where we start with a 90-minute call just for you to share your story—relationship woes, career stress, whatever’s weighing you down. That becomes our foundation for transformation.
From there, I customize a program for you, picking the right practices and modalities from my medicine bag. We’ll focus on one major area you want to transform. Most clients see beautiful shifts in six weeks, but longer support is absolutely available.
Love Rehab touches mind, body, spirit, and now, finances. I’m working on a financial coaching certification because we, as women, need to know our worth, handle our coins, and be secure.
Each week you’ll have 45-minute heart-to-heart coaching calls, shifting your heart set and mindset, focusing on forgiveness, self-love, confidence, assertiveness; all the ingredients for a thriving relationship with yourself and others.
You’ll also receive an Angelic Heart Healing session plus an intuitive card reading, and access to the private Lotus Blossom Sister support group.
You Deserve Wholeness
I am truly excited about helping more people cleanse the pain, heal, and open up to love, life, and all you deserve. If you’re watching the replay, please let me know. Drop your questions and comments.
The six-week Love Rehab coaching is discounted if you pay in full. There’s a payment plan as well—I’ll link details below.
Thank you for being part of my community, for allowing me to serve and support you. This is your space. If you need anything, please let me know. I’m so grateful to be here, to share, to heal, and to evolve with you.
Until next time, peace and deep love.
