For a while I've been wondering if that name was true to what I do.
When I thought about reopening The Kulture Spa, I felt so constricted and drained.
I wanted to reopen my business, but NOT like that.
Most of the people I worked with were ones that I dreamed of supporting. Our sessions were impactful and I looked forward to them every single time. But there was so much that wasn't aligned.
As I continued my own healing and dreaming up what was next for me, I knew something had to change.
My intention was always to create a sacred space for healing. The decision for my business name to be The Kulture Spa was intentional. Spa means healing waters, but most people think of how spas operate today, which typically lacks true healing.
I saw that it wasn't aligned and wasn't bringing the right kind of clients in. I also wanted to focus on members of my community in my work, offering a space for healing and liberation of the body, mind, and soul. I no longer wish to practice under a business name or for massage to be the primary service provided.
So, while most massage offerings and the name The Kulture Spa are being retired, the energy and intention behind the business isn't going away.
I made the decision to operate under my name instead of the business name.
You'll now find that The Kulture Spa Google page is now listed as: Jovhannah Tisdale, Sacred Wellness Alchemist™
This transition reflects the evolution of my work and the intentional direction of my healing practice.
While the name has changed, the care, expertise, and commitment to integrative healing remain the same. It also reflects my commitment to consolidating my work under my own name and lived practice.
My work is me. It's what I live, what I believe, and what I do. I don't think The Kulture Spa really captured that, or the healing essence weaved into my work.
Honestly, letting that name go was an easy decision so I know this is the right direction, leading with presence and my own energy rather than hiding behind the business.
As a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, Energy Healing Practitioner, and Spiritual Life Coach, I continue to offer grounded, embodied support through therapeutic bodywork, energy healing, and transformational wellness experiences.
This also allows me to bring Sacred Wellness Alchemy™to the forefront of my practice.
