  • Manifesting with Vision Boards: Spiritual Tools to Reach Your Goals and Change Your Life

Peace and blessings. I just wanted to come on really quick. To be honest, I’m kind of in bed, not really doing much because I am tired. This week has been exhausting, but in a good way. Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to slow down and check in.

Now, let me just say, this platform got all these fun features, little hearts popping up, and I’m just here for it. Alright, let me get back on track for real. I wanted to talk about vision boards and the power of simply writing things down.

Do You Use a Vision Board? Let’s Talk About It

I was hoping some of y’all would join me so we could really discuss this because I truly want to know how many of you actually have a vision board, or use one, or have at least heard of it. What’s your experience?

Let me be honest, I’ve got a couple myself. My big one is over there across the room, but I also keep a daily vision board that serves as a reminder to show up and do what I need to do. It’s right there, tucked into my planner. That way, it’s always with me, and it’s already March and I’ve been able to check things off my board. I attribute that to the fact that my vision board is right where I can see it every single day. I can pause, soak it in, and reconnect.

If I’m having a tough day at work? I pull out my vision board and imagine myself in my dream car. I see myself working with clients, securing that office space I want, sitting on meditation pillows, embodying all the things I’ve mapped out for myself.

Manifesting Big Dreams: Specific Goals and Memories

One dream smack dab in the middle of my board is the “Certified Angel Tarot Reader” logo. Last summer, Radleigh Valentine launched that certification. He’s someone whose cards I adore. He and Doreen Virtue made some of the first decks I ever owned.

I wanted that training in person when he came to Chicago, but life had other plans and I couldn’t enroll for the first round. Every so often, I’d go to that website, stare at that logo, and speak my intention out loud, saying ‘one day, I will get that certification’. So, it holds that place on my vision board, serving as a promise to myself.

Now, my very first tarot deck was the traditional Waite Smith deck, but those images were a little too much for me at the time. They didn’t speak my language just yet. The Angel Tarot deck Radleigh and Doreen created helped me return to those roots, understand the structure and meaning, really work with the cards. It helped facilitate that connection, not just with the cards but with the angelic realm and the healing work I do. Getting that certification was about honoring those relationships.

What a Vision Board Really Does

Let me reel it back. The whole point of a vision board is to bring your vision out of your mind and heart and manifest it in the physical world. Whether it’s a house, a relationship, a new job… whatever, start by placing the idea firmly in your mind and your heart.

Let’s use the house as an example. Maybe you simply put a picture of your dream home on your board. Something cut from a magazine, or maybe you get granular, mapping out each room, closet, kitchen, down to the marble you want on your floors.

The more specific you get, the clearer your vision becomes. For me, I found a photo of a stunning entrance. Even if it didn’t show the whole house, every time I see that entrance on my board, it transports me into my future home, helping me see, taste, and feel what I truly desire.

Every time I look at my vision board, I’m not just seeing images. I’m connecting my heart and my mind, priming myself to feel good about what’s coming, and affirming that I deserve it.

Vision is More Than Just Pictures

It’s not just about gluing some magazine clippings on a board and forgetting about it.

The alchemy is in the feeling and the visualization. I take time to meditate on those images and allow myself to feel the reality of what I want to bring in. The things I work with and visualize the most are the things that manifest first. It’s wild how true that is in my life.

You don’t have to get fancy. I have a digital vision board too! It’s the wallpaper on my phone and my computer, so it stays in my sight all day long. You can use Pinterest, Canva, or even just a blank sheet of printer paper, whatever feels right to you. It’s about surrounding yourself with reminders of your dreams.

When I picture my dream car, I imagine how it’ll feel to step inside, what that new car smell is like, the feel of leather seats, that odometer at zero. Every time I see my dream car on the road, I say a quick “thank you,” sending a blessing to whoever’s driving it, knowing mine is on the way.

Now, the next focus on my vision board is around essential oils. I finally have a space outside my home to hold classes and gatherings. That means I can teach, share, and let people create and take home something beautiful. My wellness and essential oils business is an extension of who I am and what I love. Putting that intention on my board helps me act on it.

How Do I Honor My Dreams?

Recently while journaling, a question jumped out at me: How do I honor my dreams? That came right out of a tarot spread and hit me deep. It brought me back to my vision board. I hopped on here because I want you to succeed and experience this for yourself.

This is not just for me, it’s for all of us. A rising tide really does lift all boats.

I’m far from perfect, y’all. I’m here in bed, yawning, coming to you just as I am. This is a journey, and I am learning as I go. But let me tell you, the more time I spend honoring my dreams, the easier it has become to align with people and opportunities that help make them real. Confidence and support simply show up.

Stay Focused and Clear: A Vision Board Challenge

It’s amazing what happens when you surround yourself with community and love, and when you’re honest about your vision.

Clarity helps you focus. Every morning when I open my planner up, there it is. My vision board looking back at me, reminding me who I am and what I came here to do.

If you don’t have a vision board yet, you don’t have to go all out. There are levels to this.

For March, I challenge you to make a vision board. Keep it simple or go all in with creativity. It could be a sheet of paper or a secret Pinterest board. Use Canva or any space that lets you collect and affirm your dreams.

Find words, quotes, images, books, or anything that represents your focus for this month.

If your focus is inner peace, what brings you that peace? What images, colors, or words evoke that feeling for you? If your focus is abundance, reflect that in your board’s energy.

Checking In With Compassion and Forgiveness

This week, spirit has been guiding me into a real place of gratitude and forgiveness. When I catch myself holding on to anger or resentment, I make a conscious choice to forgive. I send love to myself and to anyone else involved. I don’t want to host any negative energy in my body or soul.

Recently, I shared a powerful video from a sister who spoke so much love and truth, it brought me to tears. It made me ask myself—am I truly letting my light shine, or am I still hiding?

My dear friend told me the truth: “Your light is on, and it is bright. Nothing hidden here.” That made me realize I pour into you here, but don’t always let that light spill over into every area of my life. My intention for this month is to embody love and compassion in all things.

Watching yet another video, this time a humorous one about veganism, had me thinking about what it means to truly live in alignment with my values. I still eat certain animal products, but now I’m asking myself harder questions. How am I showing up as the Sacred Wellness Alchemist™ if I’m not living in compassion to the fullest? It’s uncomfortable, but that’s where growth happens.

So for March, I am claiming a deeper embodiment of love in everything I do, making sure it comes from my soul and reaches everyone around me.

No hiding. No toning myself down to make others comfortable. If I’m challenging you to make a fresh vision board this month, you know I’m making one, too. I’ll tuck it into my planner, right where I can see it every day.

Happy Friday. I love you. I appreciate you. I adore you. You are beautiful. You are wise beyond measure, and you are so deserving of everything good, lovely, and true.
