Tarot and oracle card readings are gateways into the unseen, intuitive languages for diving into the mysteries that shape our journeys. As I delved into my collection for Unexplained Mysteries Tarot, I discovered an inspiring assortment of decks. Each with its own energy, atmosphere, and potential for unveiling the magic and mysteries of life.
Whether your questions concern personal growth, career transitions, the supernatural, or even conspiracy theories, the right deck can illuminate your path.
In today’s post, I’m sharing the decks from my latest recording that spoke most vibrantly to themes of the mystical, magical, and unknown. Let’s embark on this journey through imagery, symbolism, and subtle energies.
Once again, there’s no specific order here. I’ll introduce each deck, share who created it, show off some of the cards, and talk about why each one made it off my shelf for this series. Let’s dive in!
Pleiadian Wisdom Oracle
By Pia Orlean and Cullen Beardsmith, this is one of the first decks I grabbed because of its artwork. It’s otherworldly and cosmic, perfect for channeling messages from other star systems.
The backs of the cards are beautiful, with keywords like “Healing” and “Change” or “Purpose, Source, Connection.”
Many cards look like portals, which really adds a beautiful cosmic energy to any reading. It feels like you can tap directly into bigger, universal themes.
Numinous Tarot
The Numinous Tarot by Cedar McCloud stands out thanks to its unique art and soft energy.
It’s both earthly and otherworldly, bringing dimension to a tarot reading without being harsh. The images don’t have that shiny glare many decks do, which I love, and the linen finish feels just right in my hands. This one really brings something unique to the reading table.
Dreams of Gaia Tarot
Raven Phelan’s Dreams of Gaia Tarot is a longtime favorite for me. It’s structured differently from traditional decks. Most of the majors are renamed, so it almost reads like an oracle.
The cards feel mythical and otherworldly with themes like the Hero and Healing, and some images are part human, part animal.
Whenever I do deep, mystical readings, this is often my deck of choice. The guidebook is packed with insights, and I find the messages come through powerfully.
Sacred Destiny Oracle
From Denise Linn, this deck pairs strong keywords with gorgeous, clear imagery. It's easy to read energy around a situation or transition. The visual landscapes help anchor messages for grounding and clarity.
Energy and Spirit Oracle
Another favorite by Sandra Ann Taylor, is the Energy and Spirit Oracle. The reason I love it is that it clearly marks when a card is about spirit or energy. There are archangels, shamanic healers, and elemental themes.
Connected and Free Alchemist Oracle
Created by Inner Hue, you can now find this mass market on Amazon. I use this oracle all the time for channeling and it never disappoints. I find the whole deck to be beautifully tuned for intuitive, deep-diving readings.
Mystic Palette Tarot
This sepia deck by Ciro Marchetti draws me in with its lush, somewhat surreal art. The sepia tones feel historical or ancestral, making this perfect for connecting with past energies. The imagery is so absorbing that I can get lost in the scenes, which always yields richer interpretations.
Dragon Oracle
Diana Cooper’s Dragon Oracle is a must-have for me because I love working with dragon energy. The dragons are lively, mystical, and connected to different galaxies. The deck always seems to deliver powerful, talkative messages, especially when I want to weave in cosmic guidance.
Guardian Tarot
By Beth Silonnen, the Guardian Tarot initially felt almost ghostly to me, so much so that I basically had to sit with it for a while before using it.
Once I connected, it became the perfect deck for supernatural or paranormal readings, with its ancestral feel and haunting tree-like figures. The cards evoke an energy where you feel like you’re peering through the veil, which is ideal for these themes.
Sacred Forest Oracle
Again from Denise Linn, this deck stands out for being richly nature-based and gorgeously mystical. It’s perfect for grounding and exploring secrets tied to our planet.
Sacred Traveler Oracle
This one is great for symbol-rich journey readings. I tend to reach for this deck when I read about people’s soul journeys or spiritual travels.
Cosmic Visions Tarot
Jessica Shackleton’s deck is visually striking with black and white illustrations accented by pops of color. I use this often when channeling messages from different beings or energies. Each card feels multidimensional and full of symbolism, perfect for illustrating cosmic conversations and higher guidance.
Talking to Heaven
By Doreen Virtue and James Van Praagh, this deck is all about clear, heartfelt messages from the other side. This deck really called to me during this series, making me consider diving deeper into mediumship readings.
Quantum Tarot
Created by Chris Butler, the Quantum Tarot absolutely shines with its embossed artwork and cosmic energy. The cards pair traditional tarot themes with quantum physics concepts, featuring figures interacting with atoms, space, and satellites.
Healing Light Tarot
By Chris Butler, this deck is both unique and subtly mystical. The artwork glows with purples and golds, often depicting luminous spirit-like forms. The minors each have a keyword for clarity, making this especially handy for both in-depth and quick readings.
White Numen Tarot
A Liminal 11 deck inspired by ancient rituals and animal spirits, White Numen Tarot feels like stepping into its own universe. The artwork is creative and richly symbolic, drawing from sacred connections between nature and the realms beyond. Even though I haven’t read with it just yet (the cards are still in order!), I can sense its strength and depth for mystical readings.
Cosmic Slumber Tarot
By Tilly Walden, and also from Liminal 11, this is one of my favorites for dream work. The imagery pulls you into a dreamlike world, making it perfect for exploring the subconscious, dream messages, and the realm between waking and sleeping. I love the playful yet powerful vibe of this deck.
Wrapping Up (For Now)
I still have another row of decks and a top shelf to explore, so who knows?
There may be a part three or even part four coming soon. My process is all about letting decks “call” to me for these supernatural and mystical readings.
Once I’ve chosen my final group, I plan to create or find a spread that digs deeper into what I might discover through this work.
Let me know which decks you enjoyed from this list or if you have suggestions from your own collection. I’m always open to exploring new decks and sharing this magical path together.
